The Relative Sentiment Tactical Allocation ETF is an actively managed product that systematically invests in equities, bonds and gold based on an ensemble of relative sentiment indicators. The fund’s subadvisor (Relative Sentiment Technologies, LLC) uses both public and third-party data sources along with both published and proprietary algorithms to quantify the relative sentiment between institutions and individuals. It then uses those quantifications to adjust the fund’s asset allocations accordingly–taking more exposure to an asset class when institutions increase their relative bullishness, and less otherwise.
